Simon shook his head at her and refused to believe that it was her fault that Mariah had died. "It isn't your fault, Sarah. It was an accident, and that's all that can be said about it." He looked at her calmly and squeezed her hand. "If you don't want to sleep, we can cook something up and eat." He suggested with a light tone, hoping to lighten up the atmosphere, even a little. He could feel the emotion dripping off of her words as she spoke, and he wanted to help her calm down some more.
