Matt lowered his gun and grabbed the painkillers with his other hand tossed them to a field medic nearby and ordered her to help tend to Lightning's wounds. Soon after with the help of another SOLDIER they were carrying Lightning back inside the base to the Med-Bay. "Appreciate the meds, still doesn't explain exactly why you were carrying one of my SOLDIER's around in that condition. Nor does it fully explain why you have that blade for 'safe keeping'" Matt told him. "I know one of those vampires quite well, crazy son of a bitch at that. Name is Johnathan, about the oddest vampires you will ever find. As for the other, I have no clue." Matt decided it'd be best to ignore the huge explosion through the conversation, he had more pressing matters, especially if it was just SOLDIER cleaning up part of the vampire stragglers.

Magnus slowly stalked who he thought was Saya(Yea forget my other post about him referring to her as Lambda, you suggested this name so I'll go with it :p.). Magnus watched as she was floating in the air untill eventually she decapitated the remaining vampire in the vicinity with some type of weapon protuding from her back. She was clearly no longer fully human. She turned when she noticed him and fired some sort of weapon at him, he had no time to figure out what it was, he immediately side rolled out of the way. The weapon left small craters where he had once been standing. Someone had to be controlling her, she would never have attacked him had she full control over herself and her memories.

Magnus called out to her "Saya, is that you? Do you not remember me? It is me Magnus! If that is truly you and you have even a shread of humanity and your manners left you should know who I am!" He didn't wish to, but he readied himself for battle, if she lashed out at him again he would have no choice but to defend himself and possibly destroy her if it came to it..
