It was surprising for Kaz to see Moeka - who moments ago seemed fairly disinterested in what was going on around her - welcoming Akihara, one of the new recruits, with such a gesture. Furthermore, Moeka's interaction with Naoto was also notable. It only made Kaz more curious about his own partner. Admittedly, during his pre-agent training, Kaz never wondered what it would be like to be part of a team. In fact, he thought most agents worked alone but, the fact of the matter is, most agents have partners they can rely on. Whether it's Naoto and Moeka or Takashi and Chisa, partnerships within the Order in Black are a vital strength to the Order's continued existence. After Moeka had let Akihara go, Naoto had turned to the two of them and remarked about Eiji being the untrustworthy one which he then followed up with a rather unnerving smile - head-tilt included. Kaz wouldn't say it out loud but Naoto didn't exactly gave off the right vibe just now (or before). Eiji gave a slight chuckle in response to what Naoto had said. "I wonder myself if I really am as Naoto described." the bespectacled agent said as if confirming what Eiji had just blatantly lied about. "Alright, it's time we go take care of the problem in Saiga. Let's hurry it up." Takashi said before taking one last sip of his alcohol. "Congratulations, Kaz, Akihara, you're officially agents of the Order in Black. Welcome to the team." Eiji said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a supernatural being to hunt down." he added before walking passed the group. Passing near Kaz, Eiji placed a hand on his shoulder. "Take care, rookie." he said before finally leaving the lobby. "Good luck to you and your partner, Kaz." Chisa said before leading the rest of the agents out, leaving only Kaz and Akane in the lobby. -Meanwhile- Naoto, Moeka, Akihara, Takashi, and Chisa arrived at their destination: the Saiga District. The suburban area, although belonging to the city, looked to have been more influence by towns in the country side rather than by Kaidan itself. There was an elegant simplicity to the area - an tranquil charm sort to speak. The moon seemed particularly beautiful above this area of the city. Contrasting that, however, was the eerie silence of the district. It seemed abandoned almost. "This place looks a ghost town." Takashi remarked with a fresh cigarette in his mouth. "The civilians have probably been put to sleep and locked inside their homes by the scouting party. There are definitely signs of supernatural activity however." Chisa stated. What normally to average people may be overlooked are actually the best indicators to agents about whether supernatural beings reside in an area or not. Furthermore, an agent's eyes can see things that normal people's eyes can't see such as the spiritual trail of the supernatural beings. As expected, supernatural beings are beginning to show themselves and there were a lot of them. "You've gotta be joking. That's gotta be at least twenty to thirty Shades in this area." Takashi estimated. A Shade is the most basic corruption of a human soul and spirit. They are able to change their basic shape in order to adapt to a variety of situations. Unlike Diabolas - the more advanced corruption - Shades tend to form groups when they hunt for victims. However, a group is rarely consisting of five or fewer Shades. This number of Shades in this area is simply astounding.
