The entire atmosphere was a freshly baked chocolate lava. So warm, and so sweet in the centre. Other students began to gather, distinctively marked by the identifying school uniform that they wore. Within less than a minute, the front yard was filled with people and new faces. Each individual seemed particularly busy with their own businesses, halting Lann's desire to try and ask questions from anybody. "Ah, damn. Here I go again-- Having a stick up my ass again. Keep this up and I'll have no friends..." There wasn't a single sense of direction inside of him. He walked inside on his own within the sea of people that stood by and chatted. "Seemed like all of them are having a good time." "Hey, you!" What felt like a bully reached for his shoulder that got Lann already to become defensive over himself. It brought to him so many bad memories from the past where he was everybody's punching bag. Lann's head turned with a creak as he looked towards a set of brightly shining eyes and a mouth littered with crumbs. Behind him was a smaller girl, grabbing firmly onto her book with an image of a teddy bear all over it. "You're new right?" Lann couldn't even say anything, being so nervous thinking that he was already being confronted by a bully. "Hey man, relax. I'm Sirius." Sirius let out his hand and Lann stared at his hand. He looked closely if any shock buzzer was attached to his hand where Sirius contemplated that he probably was only nervous. "Seriously, go on. Shake my hand. No nasty surprises." He said. Lann who was being too overly cautious let out his hand slowly and approached Sirius's palm. A second hand followed, locking Lann's hand in place with Sirius's as the two had a good firm handshake with one another where Lann was relieved and surprised that there was no buzzer. "There you go. How seriously easy was that?" Lann had a nervous smile about him. "Y-yeah." He abruptly replied to Sirius, their hands still shaken together. "Just ease up a little. Don't be serious." At this rate, Lann was confused. He couldn't distinguish whether his favourite word was serious or he was seriously relaxed to the core. Sirius patted Lann on the shoulders before the little girl set her eyes on Lann. "Hey serious-guy! What's your name?" Sirius asked. This time, his face looked rather serious. "Hey narrator, ease up with the word 'serious' alright?" What the hell? Can he hear me now? Well, better make him do something really silly. It was then that the little girl blushed. Lann became utterly confused and traced back her eyes down to his pants where the zipper was still open. Lann's face erupted in redness before he quickly zipped his pants up. It was obvious that he had scarred the little girl's innocence a little. "Ah shit!" Lann yelled aloud, before leaving Sirius and the little girl entirely as he climbed up the stairs, heading towards a random classroom (that turned out to be his own). At that moment then, he bumped into somebody it his advance (Emillia). "My god, I'm so sorry are you alright?" Lann apologised and offered them a hand.
