Thor sighed "He couldn't walk and hes in alot of pain. I know father will want to punish him, but I don't think now is a good time." He looked worried about Loki. He loved his brother no matter what. He knew Loki hated him too much right now to see that or maybe he did see that and didn't want it.
He looked at his mother not knowing what to do.

"Hes not been speaking to me, I know hes still very mad, But I don't want him to be suffering and what if he becomes ill,"
He knew Loki needed the time to recover.
He hoped that in time Loki would be less angry with him "I took him too his room for now and gave him something to ease the pain for now."
