Pakuna sighed, stepping in. Suki saw him, and breaking away from her conversation with what he took to be another new student, she strided over to him. 

She pulled him into a tight hug, "Don't run off like that! You nearly got yourself killed! Erik's dead on his feet after trying to save you!" 

It wasn't as bad as he thought it would have been.
