the man must not have heard Giovanni as he turned to someone else and started speaking to him instead. It was rather awkward but not necessarily surprising, especially considering what he was buying. He gathered from the mans conversation with the other shinigami that both of them were recent graduates from the shino academy. Which Meant he should know. their spiritual pressures didnt seem particularly familiar to him but he didnt make a habit of committing all his fellow students spiritual energies to memory.
