Verdier bounded around the pier, her helpless owner still being dragged along by the collar of his shirt, which stretched just enough to let him breath as he was dragged and flung around by his "friend". They even passed the friendly old man from earlier, and in a desperate attempt to get some help he simply mouthed the words: "help me" as he flew on by, the old man confused, yet extremely amused by the sight, yelling something like: "Go get 'em kiddo" before going on his way. When Verdier finally caught the scent of the people from earlier on a ship, she happily barked as she stood looking at it, giving Toridus a moment of freedom to catch his breath and remember the unbridled fury he was supposed to be feeling. The vein in his forehead now visibly throbbing, he got to his feet and stood over Verdier, who turned to him with the same carefree expression as before...in fact he could have sworn the pangog was smirking. Before he could release his anger on her in a non-abusive way...probably just yelling at her, she bounded on his chest once again and grabbed him on the now-crumpled collar of his shirt and dragged him up the boardwalk onto the boat. Still flailing and trying to rip off his shirt's collar he helplessly and angrily flopped against the deck before Verdier finally gave him a good toss with a simple turn of her neck and bounding off to god-knows-where. His back and butt now hurt as much as his pride, he slumped to the ground on impact, his rear slamming down before he simply lay down on the cold wooden deck. He sighed heavily, and angrily as he raised himself from the ground, absolute anger about to boil over as he dusted himself off. He thought for a moment about life, about the simple pleasures like, stabbing a Sea King and then eating it, stabbing a monster, and then eating it, training to stab things, and absolutely hating pirates with a passion and turning them in. The little things that kept him going in life. Thinking for a moment that he'd finally calmed down, he began walking along the deck, trying his best to remain calm as he stared out tot he ocean...so blue and wide...what a pretty, calming sit- *thwack* One of the crew members of the ship had mistaken Toridus for one of the attackers, and so had hit him over the head with a thick, steel mace. Thinking he'd just successfully beaten one of the pirates, the man stood triumphately as Toridus slouched slightly, giving a loud laugh before saying: "GAHAHAHAHA, HOW WAS THAT,YOU TRASH? Now, come along quietly so we can get whatever your sorry hide is wo-" Toridus rose quickly from his slouched position, his head hitting the sailor in the nose sharply, and quickly, forcing him to jolt his head back in pain. The man tried to swing once more, but Toridus batted the arm holding the mace aside and put the man's wrist into a vicegrip, squeezing so hard the cracking of bones was audible. The man's muffled grunts of pain were only follows by a short: "Y-You damn robber, you-" before being thrown clear across the ship and slamming into another member of the crew being threatened by what looked like a man made out of metal, both the crewmembers were knocked clear off the ship, slamming onto the cold and wet boards of the pier unconscious. He felt the back of his head feel strangely...wet...briefly placing his index finger against the area of the mace's impact, he felt an intense, throbbing pain before seeing the blood on his finger. Looking over at the crew members being intimidated, he drew two of the spears from his quiver, and began slowly sauntering over to them, and in the loudest, yet most hoarse voice he could, he simply said: "I won't let...any... pirate scum...take...this..." before collapsing on the ground near the center of the deck, the spears in his quiver spilling as he retained his instinctual grip on the two in his hands, even while unconscious. --- -Verdier Shenanigans- Verdier bounded around the various barrels and crates littered about the place, helping herself to some of the meat as she went along, sneezing loudly when she stuck her nose into a jar of spices, wherever she went she tried to sample a bit of the larder and stock. As she made her way around, she finally cleared the spices from her nostrils and caught a whiff of a familiar scent...no, not the colorful fruity lady, it smelt more like a child. Her ears perked up as she identified it as the small boy dressed as a filthy vegetarian bear from earlier, and so she bounded off to see if he was in danger...the boy reminded her a bit of Toridus when they were on the island. When she finally found him, her first reaction was to notice what he was doing...it vaguely resembled what she did when Toridus told her "no". Seeing that he was using the forbidden adorable-as-all-hell-hisatsu on some random chumps, she figured it'd be enjoyable to see their reactions if she joined in as well. Silently approaching and sitting on her hind legs next to Mushuro, she lightly raised one paw as if it were injured, and whimpered slightly, using all her mighty pangog strength to give the sailor the most adorable look a pangog could.
