Giovanni shrugged. hope wasnt exactly a specialty and what he knew about squad 5 there wasnt much sacrifice either. But so long as it was what Shusuke wanted to do who was he to try to say otherwise. Its not like Giovanni would have listened if someone had tried to talk him our of following his calling. That thought struck a chord with Gio, the kido corps was his calling so no one would talk him out of it. the thought made him smile "Its good you have such a resolve and yeah it sure is a beautiful day. But dont forget your a full fledged shinigami. you gotta be ever ready so dont get to....comfortable." he really wanted to say 'drunk' but comfortable was more tactful, he thought. 

Truth was, with so much on his mind, a drink was something he could really use. "how bout we find a place to sit and sip. if your still up for a drink" he said, noting Shusuke's sobered mood. But considering the fact that had already been drinking maybe it wasnt the best idea to have him drink any more. or it meant he ould keep drinking till he passed out..... either way Gio wanted a drink.
