Caroline rolled out of bed, sighing at the marks she had left all over. She had taken her gloves off last night to shower and forgotten to put them back on, now the sheets were ruined but it didn't particularly bother her. She puled her gloves back on and changed into regular clothes. Caroline headed off to the restaurant, it had no name and even if it did she doubted anyone would use it since it was the only restaurant on the island. The baker was already asleep and was pulling the batch of muffins she asked him to make out of the oven. She thanked him although it was doubtful he even heard her since he was asleep. Her next stop was the center building, it was a welcome and recreation center that was a common hang out for USO members, it was there that she collected maps and informational packets, Caroline then started off for the water front. She stood on the docks, a basket of muffins in one hand and maps in the other. The founder had notified her that there was to be a group of people arriving and asked her to be the welcoming committee and so she was. Eyes on the horizon, she looked for a sign of people. Caroline noticed a boat in the distance and smiled with anticipation.
