Sarah smiled against his lips when he kissed her back, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her emotions swirled around in her head, and the most dominant was love. The other was fear. Her father and her sister had died, and she was scared to death of losing someone else she loved. She didn't know how she would cope, if she lost Simon or her mother. Funny thing was, her birthday was in a week. And she was likely going to spend it mourning. Either way, that was unimportant. What was important was Simon's lips against hers, and the feelings kissing him gave her. She eagerly kissed him back, making a small noise as she pressed herself closer to him.
