Taking the muffin, Noah stood up, stretching his back as the boat arrived. The emotions felt like a constant pressure around the entirety of his skull, barely held at bay by his will. As long as nobody touched him, he would likely be fine. Several of the new arrivals had started talking right away, and Noah perceived everything they said as slightly muted due to his music. Standing back slightly from Caroline to avoid being too close tot he others, he looked over the new face. Even as he did, one changed from masculine to feminine, causing him to raise an eyebrow. The expression didn't hold long as another girl started sobbing and her embarrassed anguish washed over him. He grimaced at her for a moment then shook his head slightly. If all the newbies were going to be like this, he certainly wasn't going to be able to stay.
