Aneira squeezed her eyes closed, taking deep breaths as she struggled to reign in her emotions. After a few moments her hands unclenched and the ice around her melted. Her eyes opened and she glanced up at Jason, eyes unreadable and expression blank. She studied him a moment before she spoke. "You aren't a monster, you're just different."
