~Feeling again the urge to go and explore the campus, Kacela took advantage of Matt's arrival to slip away, relatively unnoticed as Avery and Matt were talking about clubs. She didn't want to be too rude, however, and so gave a small wave as she departed. When she was once again by herself, she felt the urge fade a bit, though it still prompted her to look around and appreciate the beauty of the campus, especially the wooded areas on the fringes. It was definitely not a bad place to be attending college.~ Meanwhile, Avery was still chatting with Matt, listening as he explained that he had signed up for the sports club due to having some experience in a form of martial arts, or at least that's what Avery gathered from his casual mention of having a black belt. “Do you m-mind if I ask what kind of m-martial arts you have a black belt in?” she asked, feeling a little silly for her lack of knowledge concerning the subject. She did know, however, that there were at least two different martial arts that used a black belt, so she knew that her question wasn't entirely idiotic. At his explanation of what he was attending college for, Avery nodded. It was a pretty common sentiment that college students shared, and she was really no exception. Sure, the point was to further your education, but that didn't meant that you couldn't enjoy the process too. His question as to what she was attending for was a bit surprising, but only because it acted as proof that he knew she wasn't actually a little kid. That confirmation allowed her to relax some. “I'm here to major in Studio Arts,” she said a bit sheepishly, as she knew how some people reacted upon hearing that someone was going for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Figuring that it would be better to change the subject of the conversation to someone else, she responded by asking, “What are you attending the university for?”
