"Lucien!" Lisette cried, as Mordie gave him a rough shove into the deepest part of the pool. Luckily, Cid came to his rescue, and Lucien was poolside, wig askew and sputtering water. The weaponless archer looked at Mordie questioningly.

"Hope you can swim, Lucy-baby! Ah may not be from 'round 'ere, but ah'm not dumb. If ya wanna play fool with me, ah'll play too."

Mordie gestured to Dylan, who in turn immediately became protective of the woman for some reason. Lisette was becoming increasingly-more confused by the second; she was [i]pretty sure[/i] she was standing right next to him when Dylan turned down Josette by telling him he preferred other men. And now he was holding her by the waist, to shield her from the bros who were rushing toward her?

Tom and Cid were running one second, but were now lying on their backs, facing opposite directions and seeing stars.

Lisette stepped around the slowly-spreading oil slick to approach Dylan. Forgetting what their fake names even were, she called out to him. "Dylan, what are you doing? She just pushed Lucien!" 

She made a move to grab his arm, to pull him over to her side.
