It didn't take long after Kyla had left, when a large group of men made their way to the mansion. Slowly they started to surround it and get their weapons ready, being as silent as humanly possible so not to alert those inside. these people somehow knew that Edward was injured and they were counting on that, so to capture or kill the dragon, what ever was easier to do. They had plans and would kill the rest of his family if they were to get in the way.

all the while Kyla remained in her begging spot, glancing around from time to time to make sure none of the hunters were following her. It really wouldn't do if they found her in such an open place, she really felt like a sitting duck here but would be fine if she kept her head down.
