Protip: Use common sense, if it seems wrong and taboo, it probably is. Blood runes are a little iffy though, since there are really innocuous uses for it as well (ie, privacy runes or whatever that only use a single drop of blood) We never really had a black and white discussion on what is or is not acceptable in the world and we just sort of use creative license. Seraphim are generally distrustful of anything that has to do with darkness or shadow magic, or deals with the dead and spirits directly. I imagine blood magic would have something of a similar treatment.

Stay away from babies, kittens, or sex rituals [s](unless it involves spectacular sex)[/s] and you should be fine. We've already pushed the virgin sacrifice boundary already so uhm, whatever floats your boat and doesn't get us all banned - go ahead
