L'esta listened carefully to what Shu had for them, honestly a bit surprised that he had come to them for help. "I believe we might be able to help you out, so long as what you're asking is reasonable of course." The Captain motioned for the boys to follow him as he turned for the door, gesturing for his guards to make way for them as he approached. As the two large doors swung open he turned back once again to Shu and Takeshi, looking to the older boy in particular. "Your brother is trustworthy, but we do not know the same for you. I wish we could give you the benefit of the doubt, so expect an escort of guards at all times while in the city. It should go without saying as well, but when in the presence of the Queen be courteous, for your own good." "You guys are acting like I'm here to attack the place," Takeshi said exasperatedly, that quip being rather ironic really. Putting his hands up once more he smiled, shaking his head with a small chuckle. "I'll be good, I promise. Believe it or not we are both here to help you, you won't have anything to worry about from me." Seriously, what had been said about him before that brought this on? If they did have an informant in the city maybe they had breathed word about his cooperation with the general, that might explain this unwarranted hostility. Or it could be normal. He had to wonder though what made these people the nicer ones, as so far he'd been threatened with swords and words alike. "I should hope not. I would hate to imprison Shu's brother," the Captain replied, smiling slightly as he began his descent down into the city, the boys being led to follow suit. Shu would make the familiar trip down into the depths, likely not being nearly as bewildered as his brother at the sights. Behind them the door ground to a close, the natural light quickly fading as for a moment they were left in the dark. That was short lived though as lanterns quickly came on, illuminating the walkway down as they did before. "The Queen is having a rare day off from duties today, so you're in luck, she should be readily available to talk. I know Prince T'charrl will be happy to see you again as well, he's been rather eager about his new friends." Looking over at his shoulder at Shu L'esta chuckled softly, folding his hands behind his back. "The city has been abuzz about our new friends from above, the people seem rather excited we have some new allies in this struggle."
