Ryuu watched as the Gillian was dragged further and further under the ground with it letting out screams of terror as it did but during it's panic it had attracted many hollow that came from behind where Ryuu was "My kill..." Ryuu's Zanpakuto then became coated in a black smokey Spiritual energy as he suddenly turned, swinging his Zanpakuto around as he did releasing a massive long arc that flew towards the oncoming hollows and suddenly the hollows and half the forest in that direction split in two with the top half's being thrown into the air then the hollows dissolved as the black smoke ate the rest of them. Ryuu then turned to the Gillian who was close to being dragged under the ground completely
