"Ki is like... Well..." Takeshi mumbled, rubbing at his chin toughtfully. "It's like that energy that you can feel inside of you," he continued, smiling as he patted his own chest. "Every living thing in the universe has it, or something like it. Plants, animals, even the planets have some. I almost wonder if what you have is Ki too, just a different form of it. But if we've both got that energy then we can share ours. It'll help your body by giving it more energy, and that should help you heal faster." It wasn't an instant remedy, but even if it only accelerated the process by half a day that was still good. It was selfish, he knew, but the sooner that T'charrl was well again the sooner his squad's families could be saved. The issue on Kaesstra was bound to be resolved, now it was a matter of seeing to that issue as well. "We can try a tiny bit at first, and if it doesn't work then we won't do anymore. If it'll help you though don't you think it's at least worth a try?" Takeshi was interrupted at the end by Shu coming over, a bit reluctant to be taken from the conversation at hand. Glancing at his brother curiously his face reddened as his drawing was questioned, stomping his foot indignantly and snatching the paper before pointing at it. "What do you mean a blob creature? That's totally him!" he said in a defensive tone, tapping the sheet with a finger before looking at it crossly. "I mean... It's not exactly him, but come on, it's close enough!" He had thought it was pretty good, though clearly that wasn't a universal opinion. Hearing a sudden laugh he jumped a bit, startled to see the Queen holding her sides and shaking with laughter. "You call that a drawing? Your brother was right, it does look like a blob!" Eslaria roared, still laughing at Takeshi's expense. She hadn't seen it before, but now that she had Shu's description fit it perfectly. As she calmed down she looked at the older boy who was sat in one of the chairs now, mumbling something about his picture by the looks of it. It had been funny, she thought so, and as did Garesh as he was heard settling down from some laughter as well. Smiling amused she looked to her son, offering him a hand to get him to his feet. "They can take care of our problem first, then we'll see to theirs, fair is fair. We should let them get to work, don't you think?" she asked gently, not wanting to come across as trying to tear her son from his friends. They had a job to do and that was that, they could always come back later. "Shu? Once you see this through can you come back here? I'd like to see you off before you and your friends leave, as I'm sure T'charrl would as well."
