Lex stands at just over 5'6" and a half with sallow skin and dull blonde hair due to dirt and malnutrition. Once upon a time before the explosion, Lex had a few extra pounds to lose. Now if she lost any weight she would probably close to being at danger for anorexia. With the thin layer of fat you could see the definition of muscle that Lex built through years of running, hauling, and extra push-ups. It was always necessary to be prepared in case of an attack, and even with the lack of energy from the inconsistent eating and sleeping, she always did whatever was needed for survival.

Jim was always a shorter man, standing at 5'5". Back then, however, he was still the one to grab the can off the top shelf since his wife was only 5'1"- even though he would sometimes have to sneak a chair in to use a stool... It wasn't until his wife was taking her final breaths that he told her that once she would leave the room he would grab a chair because not even he could reach it whatever she needed. It put a smile on her face even has blood spilled from her neck. 

Before the Brutes took over, Jim would always keep his beard short and close to his skin. Every once in awhile he would have Lex trim it down, but with the cold soon approaching, he figured he may as we'll leave it long.
