I have a suggestion to bring back the sidebar. I think it would be the ideal way to keep track of subscribed topics simultaneously with the latest posts on the normal boards. Honestly, my method is usually to sit on my subscription page and refresh to see which topics have new replies. This means I'm rarely venturing out to see what new topics are out there, and I feel like I miss a lot. Having the sidebar keep track of new posts from my subscriptions might be a better usage for it than keeping track of [b][i]all[/i][/b] new posts as it was before.
