Takeshi would be lying if he said he wasn't glad to be out of their. People like Katas just made him uncomfortable, no one should be that cheerful or peppy, it wasn't normal. Giving a half-hearted smile and wave to the secretary as they left the building the older boy released his brother's hand, sighing in relief. And to think he'd promised to show Katas their ship, that meant they weren't done with that weirdo just yet. "Weird...? How am I acting weird...?" Takeshi asked defensively, frowning a bit. He didn't think he was being strange at all, perfectly normal frankly. Shaking his head dismissively he slumped his hands into the folds of his pockets, coming to a halt once the two of them were back in the street. "Of course I know where we're going this time," Takeshi said defensively, "Just... Give me a second to think, will you?" Shu was quick to ask for the plan, he'd barely even considered what they might do. They had two people to ask, with the third being someone they had already met. So really it was just S'uma and Ka'shra they needed to question. Taking his hands out and scratching at his head the Saiyan turned to face down the road, trying to see if he could pick out the building from where they were. "Well... We know where they are, and how to get to talk to them... But we need a way to ask them about the war? Hm..." This was harder than he'd like it to be, especially when they seemed to be so close to finishing it. "Well... Make small talk I guess. You know... Ask them how they think it's going. We could say something like... 'This war has to be expensive, who pays for it?'. I don't know... Have any ideas?" "I never thought my home planet would be besieged by Saiyans, but yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Life's like that though... Things happen that you never expected, both good and bad." Vegeta knew that plenty well enough. He had his fair share of both tragedies and successes, and even if they had been difficult at times he didn't think he'd ever trade any of what happened. "There was a point where my life seemed as lousy as yours did. I thought I was basically done for. Things got better though, like they're about to for you three. You're going to get freedom for yourself and your families, and that's only the start." Smiling a bit Vegeta moved back to the window, looking out at Yumi and Choi thoughtfully while leaning against the counter. "For all the things I've endured, I wouldn't give any of it up, the good or the bad. It makes us who we are, right? Changing that would mean you lose yourself, and I'd never want that." Feeling rather energetic Yumi was fairly keen on having the chance to expend some energy. A sparring match with a healthy person was bound to help her settle a bit, and the chance to get a tiny bit of redemption was still in her thoughts. "I'm pretty fast too you know!" Yumi replied, smiling happily as she skipped back to space herself and Choi apart. "And I won't hit hard either. I'd hate it if our match ended too early because you got a little bruise," she teased, "Now come and get me! Let's see what the little brother can do on his own!"
