The witches were replaced by wraiths. Everyone who knew her had forgotten about her existence, except for one girl: Homura Akemi.[/indent][/center]

[center][indent]Madoka Kaname had changed the destiny of every magical girl in the world. When Magical Girls lose all their powers, they don't turn to witches. Instead, they are guided away by the Law of Cycles. Their bodies and soul gems disappear whenever this phenomenon happens. They no longer have to go through the pain and suffering of going witch when their soul gems get entirely defiled.[/indent][/center]

[center][indent]In this new world, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe and Kyouko Sakura protect the city of Mitakihara from demons. Homura Akemi is the only one that can remember that Madoka ever existed. Homura vows to protect Mitakihara so that Madoka's wish wouldn't be in vain. Along the way the three meet new magical girls that could aid them in their mission to protect the city.[/indent][/center]
