Yumi gave Choi a funny look before shaking her head, a light giggle escaping her lips. "Spy on Viral and Vegeta...? Um... No." she said plainly, putting her hands up. "They both value privacy on certain things way too much. If Vegeta volunteered to talk to Viral then that means he wants to do it alone, and I know better than to get in the middle of that. Of course... If you don't mind both of them being miffed then by all means, go ahead." Apart from just respecting them too much both men had something of a temper when pushed, and frankly she wanted none of that directed her way. Smiling ruefully Yumi moved herself towards the back door, clasping her hands behind her back as she walked. "Or... You can come inside and we can figure out what we're cooking for lunch! Since I'm sure people will be getting hungry soon, so it wouldn't hurt to get a head start on that." "I'm the bully? Oh come on man! Sure maybe I said some things but he was trashing all of us. You honestly expect me to just sit there and take that? You mean to tell me if someone was calling you things and talking down to you like that you would just stand there and accept it?" Kabocha couldn't believe Kai was coming to the defense of Viral. They were a squad after all, and it was sad how quickly opinion had shifted against him despite that fact. Whether they liked it or not they had fought together for a while, that had to mean something. Having hoped to avoid the topic of his parents his friend wasted no time in bringing them up, getting an audible groan out of Kabocha. "I... I don't know okay? I mean seriously, we're Saiyans. What are we going to do, sit around planting flowers all day? Be realistic, we're fighters! We don't just settle down, that's not us." Earth seemed too cushy to him, that was all. Or so he figured anyways, maybe there was something else to it, he didn't know. "You mean to tell me you and Choi are going to be fine just sitting around all the time?" Vegeta was having a hard time finding Viral now that he had sulked off into the woods. It wasn't a particularly wet area so there were no footprints, and so few leaves had fallen nothing was really disturbed. It was tricky to locate his friend and certainly took a while, but after a few minutes of poking his head behind trees he finally found the Beastman. Par for the course Viral didn't seem particularly thrilled at the moment, and after having to put up with that idiotic Saiyan who could blame him. Though the man likely wanted to be alone they needed to talk about his condition, and so Vegeta took a seat against the opposite side of the tree, pulling one knee up and draping an arm over it. "He looked like he was in some pain after you hit him," Vegeta began, smiling slightly as he turned his head to glance in Viral's direction. "How are you feeling anyways? You seem to be getting better." "You've got a point Shu... I don't know how we'll figure out what they can and can't eat, though fruit seems like a safe bet, so we'll do that. You know, mangoes, bananas, cherries, maybe even a smoothie or two if we can store them." Despite having had more than a fair share of fruit as of late Takeshi was craving a smoothie right now. It had been such a long time since he'd gotten one, well over a year, and he certainly could go for a cherry one right now. Pouting slightly at his unfulfilled desire he got back to the task at hand when they approached a set of gates. At first he wasn't too sure what to do, gingerly pushing one open as he poked his head in to look for someone. "Someone's got to be home, why would the gate be unlocked otherwise?" he mused, also questioning why people with the power of flight had a gate in the first place. Shrugging his shoulders the older boy pushed the gates wide open, slowly stepping onto the property. Bad idea apparently, as soon a handful of armed men descended upon them, not looking at all pleased. "You two are trespassing, get off of this property now," one of the guards said, gesturing the boys away. Takeshi looked between the guards and put his hands up in surrender, smiling sheepishly and chuckling a bit. "Hang on, we're here to see Miss S'uma," he replied, butchering the pronunciation a fair bit. "Mister Katas sent us here with a message for her, that's all." "We can give her the message, you don't have to go anywhere near her," the same guard said, drawing his weapon and staring down the two boys. Protocol said keep anyone that wasn't formally announced beforehand out, and that included the general's latest pets. "So be a good little boy and tell us what you need to tell her, you've no business meeting her." "Little boy...?" Takeshi mumbled, sounding properly irritated as his eyebrow twitched. Forcing a strained smile he shook his head, not winning any favors with his defiance. "Katas said it was only for her to hear, and to explicitly not tell her guards. If you don't want to let us in then I guess we can go back to him without saying anything. I'm sure he won't be angry with you guys at all." Fine, if they were going to be a pain he'd do the same in turn, being polite was getting old anyways. The guard gave Takeshi a good hard stare when he made that little quip, it certainly sounding like a threat to him. As much as he hated it the kid was holding this over their head, as Katas had the authority to see them disciplined. It wasn't the most pleasant thing he'd ever done, but it looked like their wings were bound on this one. "Very well..." the guard said reluctantly, shooting both boys an angry look before turning to one of the others. "Go tell Miss S'uma she's got visitors and we're sending them in, will you? And be quick about it!"
