Koyaani took his shoes off and placed them by the door neatly. He stayed standing in the living room as Lucid walked off to get some supplies. When he came back he made him take his shirt off and forced him into a chair. Koyaani sighed and wondered how long Lucid was going to keep referring to him as 'kid'. At first he didn't seem to notice it, but now he felt like it was his new nickname. He hoped it wouldn't come to that...according to the leader, they were actually the same age. Lucid lifted his arm and just before he put some alcohol on his wound, he warned him about the pain. By the time it was actually washing off on his arm, he clenched his teeth at the sting. Thankfully the process didn't take too, and Lucid released his grip on him and Koyaani looked at his wound a bit before relaxing his arm by his side. He said a quiet 'thanks' as he was finally able to get over the pain. "Listen, it's usually protocol or some shit for Hero and Recruit to bunk up during the partnership... Despite me being an unusual case... If you don't have a place to stay, you can stay here. Just don't forget to knock so I have time to put my mask on." After Lucid had explained that, Koyaani almost forgot that he didn't have a place to stay. Before coming to the city he was worried about his boarding, but now that Lucid was allowing him to stay at his apartment he felt reassured. “Wow, really? Thanks, that'd be great.”, he responded and grinned under his mask, “Alright, no problem. Same goes for me.”. Koyaani let out a sigh and finally felt like everything was in order. Now all he had to focus on was training. He yawned and realized how tired he was. “If you've got a blanket or something I can probably crash on your couch, if you don't mind.”
