Leonel's father didn't even take his chances, the man got off the ground and ran out as fast as he could. His son stayed on the ground, not moving a muscle. He had no idea what his father planned to do about the situation, or if he planned to do anything at all for that matter. For all he knew his father ran out just to save his own skin and that was the end of it. Oddly enough, Leonel was okay with that, he was quite fine with his father rushing out of this place as fast as he could. That meant he succeeded in what he came to accomplish, even if that meant he was going to die for making such a childish move. He doubted that was the plan of this beast, now. He let his father live and go free which seemed weird, but it was probably more important that Leonel started worrying about himself. He had no idea what the beast was going to do to him now since his father was gone. He was still kneeling on the ground, frozen in fear. Tears still streamed down his face as he realized that he was going to have to face the beast alone, and that felt more terrifying than simply getting killed by the guy. He had only ever seen the person that had tried to escape, and ended up ripping off Leonel's arm. If that guy was part of the beast project, he didn't look so normal. That guy terrified Leonel, and now he was stuck with someone he knew was a beast. He didn't want to see this beast if it was anything like the other project. Besides, he was pretty much stuck where he was, he couldn't move even wanted to. "Wh-What are you going to do to me?" Leonel finally asked, his voice shaky and quiet. It was hard to even get out that full sentence. He knew that there was no possible way he could take on a beast, he couldn't even take on a normal human being. He wasn't a fighter. He was sure that this guy was going to end up torturing him for the rest of his life or just kill him straight out. It wasn't like there was anything that he could be used for. Leonel wasn't a scientist and the government would be even less concerned about him missing than his father. The only way he saw this going was either death or torture.
