This is the part I so dread. Q A Q Have a look, everyone~
Appearance: Lute is a tall and lithe young man with features that are almost certainly given to those of aristocratic birth. His face is attractive, if not always lit up in a kind smile, and he has what many would describe as a gentle mien. He always wears practical and comfortable clothes, and takes care to make sure that his appearance is neat. Name: Lute Aiseirigh Age: Early twenties. Rank: G Class: Virtuoso Weapon: His sword and the occasional sound wave. Personality: With that face, you’d wonder (along with so many others) why he prefers staying in the background instead of charming ladies or whatnot, but talk to him and you’ll clearly sense that the poor boy’s social skills, or lack thereof, is akin to a fuse which burns out the more a person talks to him in a single setting (it crumbles away faster when they ask him something, yey!) although said fuse tends to be nonexistent when it comes to companions and close friends. If it isn’t bad enough that he can’t hold a decent conversation at risk of experiencing a nervous breakdown, Lute also possesses middling intrapersonal understanding, which may be due to the innumerable times he had put aside moments for self-contemplation in favor of financially productive pursuits. However, Lute’s lack of intrapersonal understanding is balanced by his uncanny understanding of the world around him, his forte being poverty-stricken slums and their denizens. His mellow behavior takes on a touch of austerity when it comes to such members of society, and the hesitant way he approaches social interaction is replaced by a cynical, world-weary temperament should there be a need to analyze or observe such matters. Due to his upbringing, he is a teleologist and a utilitarian, and is more than capable of making decisions that others can perceive as overly harsh or inhumane if need be. Overall, he holds a genuine liking for people and views them positively unless they should prove unworthy of such regard. Fighting style: Yes well, you see, Lute has a friend. As one who has bonded with a spirit of sound, Lute can stay the whispers of both human and animal. He can cause absolute silence or piercing noise in an environment but the former is what he usually enforces during his missions. His familiar often delivers snide comments in a cold, queenly voice which is the antithesis to Lute’s warm tone. His power is not entirely the creation of new sound to replace the old, but the transformation of what is to become another. It has limits, though—Lute’s assaults work extraordinarily well in closed spaces, but he can’t project a sound wave more than a few meters from his body in open space. The impact also lessens the further it is from Lute’s personage, with the exception of a concentrated attack. He switches from resonance to melee attack frequently, and he is skilled with the sword as much as he is with sound-based assaults. Aforementioned abilities can be used in echolocation too, which makes him suitable for reconnaissance or other missions involving stealth. Lute uses this power purely as a mood maker, or as means to entertain himself when he’s bored. Background: All anyone ever needs to know is that he and his sister grew up poorer and filthier “than the scum stuck to the bottom of my sole, boy!” as was shouted by a nobleman he had encountered during his preadolescent years. Favourite JRPGS?: Persona 3 Portable. Others: - Lute’s greatest treasure in life is his younger sister Ruana, who is basically a hotter genderbent (and x1000tougher) version of her brother. - Lots of underworld connections. *wink*
[b]Feel free to shoot me a question.
