Name: Jacob Yukimura Age: Fourteen Origin: Japan Residence: Los Angeles Occupation: Work at Burger King...sadly Relationships: Victoria Yukimura(Maiden name Smith) Is his mother whilst his deceased father is Akinori Yukimura Appearance: Jacob is slender and around five foot. He has very nimble fingers that are very delicate and feminine looking. He has dark brown hair with light blue highlights in them from when he visited his uncle's and they died his hair. His eyes are bright blue due to his mother. His facial structure is somewhat thin like you would think of any other Japanese man. Jacob didn't gain very much traits from his mother so he looks much more Japanese than English. He wears sweaters and jeans most of the time because he isn't very comfortable showing off. Even though he has a nice structure beneath his slender appearance he still wears very covering clothes. At the time of the outbreak he had a backpack and some medical masks but didn't put them on as to make sure the army doesn't think he was sick. History: Jacob's mother, Victoria, is of English origin whilst his father is from Japan. They met a long time ago when Victoria had been visiting Japan for a business trip. Akinori was working there as well and he offered to show her around. Needless to say, it was love at first sight. After Victoria had moved in with Akinori and they had a nice life, they decided they wanted to move back to America. There was some worry about this but after a long time, they decided to move back. Jacob was born in America but had a very traditional upbringing. Their house had many things involving Japan with around the same house rules. It had tatami mats, they ate with chopsticks, mostly Japanese food. It was basically Japan in America. When Jacob was finally old enough to go to school, he was instantly the outcast. He knew about some of the customs of school but it had been very weird to him. Preschool and what not was okay but when he got to middle school, everybody picked on him. The whole time he always had to hide from the older kids or run as they tried to shove him in a dumpster. Through this, he had gotten very strong legs after running for so long. His mother had continued going on business trips so they always had money at least. He could afford decent clothes and got some games. But still at school he was considered the poor one or the freak. He managed to make a couple of friends, mostly people obsessed with Japan, but they never really seemed like true friends. Like the ones that befriend you because you just did something spectacular or you paid them. Needless to say, life sucked for Jacob and it continued sucking. But he did find some things that gave him joy in life. He loved reading and would sometimes get lost in books for hours on end. His other favorite thing to do was helping people. If he could, he sometimes volunteered and assisted whenever he found a chance. He's learned basic medical knowledge such as first aid. Personality: Jacob is very caring and kind but has a deep sadness in him. Throughout his whole life, he had always helped people but he never knew why. It was because he had to fill that hole in his heart. Whenever he needed help, he could never find it so he was trying to fill in for his lack of support by supporting other people. His kindness often gets him in trouble because he can never resist the urge to help. If you were to fall when the group is being chased by a horde or you somehow got hurt, Jacob would easily put his life on the line to help. Sometimes he even asks if people need help, just as something to do. Although he is very cautious, there are some times that he can be very brash and careless. Jacob tends not to talk very much unless needed. But he always tries his best to keep moralle up, often leading in people getting angry at him. He often writes poetry in a notebook he carries around but never shows it to anybody just because he thinks it's ridiculous. Even though he is very kind and tender, if he by some odd chance, you do something to make him really angry or sad, he will hold a grudge. When you are marked as somebody not worth helping, he wont unless others ask, or you're in a large need of help. Starting Situation: Earlier that week, Jacob's mother brought him on a trip and he managed to go to Japan for a while. The flight home had been very rough and it seemed the pilots were shouting a little. Luckily, they landed safely but were forced inside by the military and they had been checked for some kind of disease that a soldier informed him of. Right when they were about to get out, his mother was briefly whisked away by the large amount of people and he lost her. Now he's stuck in the airport with just his suitcase full of stuff, they won't even let him out.
