Serin could sense that his confident grin was just a mask, but only because he knew why it was masking anything and what it was masking. He kept quiet about it though, knowing that this was something that needed to remain a secret and Serin wasn't a jerk to go spilling the beans. Instead he walked over to Belle and Thomas, holding a few books tucked beneath his arm. "I meant to give these to you earlier, but it slipped my mind". He presented them both to Thomas, three tomes of magic most likely jud. "Everything you need to know about Stone, Aero, and Water magic is in them. I recommend studying up on them when you get the chance". 

If Thomas accepted them then Serin would hand them to him, otherwise if he chose to not accept them he would put them back in his 'Pouch of Holding' that was on his belt. "Anyway, good luck on your journey. Be careful and I apologize in advance if Reno happens to be too much trouble for you all". Serin chuckled a little after saying this, even the Red Wizard knowing that Reno had no restraint about anything and would easily go anywhere or do anything that his whims told him to do, which was an exaggeration of course but not entirely untruthful. 

With that Serin gave a small smile and a tip of his hat before walking off in the same direction that Exomin and Eximna went in, figuring he would have a talk with Hayner as well and see how he could help since he planned on staying here for a little bit unless the Defense Committee needed him back in Radiant Garden. Not that he couldn't go to both worlds quickly, but for now he was going to help here however he could.
