Quick bio: James is the oldest of five children and the only boy. He is first in line to a throne he has no desire for. He is a soldier, preferring to spend his time outdoors practicing his sword skills to practicing his ability to speak in the court of nobles. A talented politician with his people's best interests always in the forefront of his mind he is well loved by the people. His mother, the Queen, died four years ago in the birth of James' youngest sister, Bethany. The two are very close since the King will practically have nothing to do with the girl he blames for his wife's death. He is less than pleased at the idea of an arranged marriage but if it will end the senseless bloodshed of his people he is more than happy to do it. Aware that his bride to be probably isn't all that excited by the idea of an arranged marriage either he hopes to at least befriend her if he cannot marry for love.
