Yeah, but no one wants to see a fight where you just run away from Snar and charge up a magic attack.

Nor does anyone want to see someone unleash tonnes of AOE. 

I mean, the giant bear could have just acted out of character and outran Snar, throwing trees at him or kicking him to the moon. LeeRoy could have actually used some of his super intelligence and hacked into the ship using it against Khan.
