Name: Yasei Kemono (Japanese for wild beast) Age: 19 Class: Ruler of a city/ Warrior Power(s): In battle Yasei is more animal than man. Completely driven by instinct, he moves with the speed and fury of a tiger. He has very honed senses of hearing and smell. Weakness :Yasei's instinct driven nature makes him reckless. He would much rather charge into battle immediately than think over an attack plan. Background: Yasei's story begins in the city of Chēn no Toshi (City of Chains). Chēn no Toshi is an ancient and powerful city. For many years is was independent from the rest of the country. However when the former Emperor came to the city with the country's entire army; the rulers of the city surrendered. Chēn no Toshi has always relied on slaves labor for nearly everything. Over 70% of the cities population was of slaves. Even the city's military was entirely made of slaves, with the exception of handlers who kept in line every hundred men with a whip. These soldiers were not treated like humans. Rather they were treated as animals. They were made to obey commands or be punished by the whip. They were not given traditional weapons. They were trained with and used steel gauntlets. Each has three retractable blades. Each blade was as sharp as a katana but not quite as long. In recent years the city has been fighting off hoards of demons. Many slaves died but the rulers of the city and aristocracy didn't care at all. They were content with their luxurious lifestyle made possible by the slaves. During the attacks on the city one slave had distinguished himself in battle and gained the respect of the others. This slave was Yasei. A month ago, after a massive attack on the city, Yasei was being whipped for disobeying orders. From Yasei's perspective he had simply done what he needed to be victorious in battle. He was deeply angered by this punishment and killed his handler. After the battle emotions were hot. The other slaves seeing what he had done rose up against their masters. Within a few hours every slave in the city was rebelling. Within an hour after that every Aristocrat and person of political power was dead. With no one in charge the former slaves agreed to make Yasei their ruler. Yasei vowed to kill the two brothers who controlled the country and free every slave. He now is traveling to nearby towns to gain support. Fun Fact: While by no means cruel Yasei is easily angered.
