As well as this considering most people at the Hallows Inn have had bad experiences with the Drakenwald, and some may even feel trapped by the woods. A forest spirit such as a Dryad or Nymph (known for being shape-shifters, usually between tree like folk and human folk). would probably be seen in a similar fashion to how you wanted your Troll to be seen.
