Winter crouched, concentrating as hard as he could on arming the powerful bomb that he had constructed through slight diligenc- oh who was he kidding, he just strapped some C4 into a ball of metal. He already had the thing wired up well enough from before, and didn't quite require to check the wiring. He pulled the trigger connection wire on the bomb, to bring it out, and then connected it with the secondary charge wire inside. He prayed that it wouldn't explode on the spot, as the wires connected, and sparked to life. The timer's flashed up inside, showing in red, a type of analog clock. It began to tick, slowly, but surely. He ran out, and tapped Whisper on the back. "Lets go, now. And I mean now. Don't you fucking dare try anything, we don't have the time for that." and moved forward. He didn't wait for an answer, because he knew she wouldn't have much to say to him about that. They only had around five minutes till detonation, which was just about enough time to reach down to the sewers, and get some distance, but it was still a concerning matter. The explosion could possibly collapse the sewers, or the soldiers could be genre savvy enough to check down here. So many variables in the plan. But there wasn't much else he could do, and they were running out of time. Only four minutes, and forty five seconds later, he was dashing through the disgustingly wet sewers. Winter had an old world watch he'd borrowed to keep the time, and he was staring right at it, as he ran through the circular sewers, towards the Enclave base territory. He counted down verbally, so Whisper could hear, although he'd have preferred to have let her be surprised. Oh how he hated her. "NINE, EIGHT, SEVEN, SIX, FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO..." he spoke audibly, and loudly, getting slightly nervous "Annnnnnnnd one! Detonation!" he said once, before the shockwave hit, and the tunnel shook violently, throwing dust and dirty water everywhere. That was one hell of a signal, and they weren't gonna be missing it any time soon!
