Still looking for one or two more people. (but I suppose it isn't necessary) Your characters look good, WolfsRose, consider them accepted. Going to continue work on the statistical and technical aspects of the combat system, [s]They'll most likely be implemented (even if its just the three of us) to provide a test-run and work out some kinks.[/s] Edit: Thought of some things to give the story a bit of form. Let me know if you happen to like any of them.
Possible Story Features: F.S.N: The Fighting School Network has been in place in Bridge City for the past two decades, making it one of the last school districts to adopt official F.S.N presence; though it is quickly making a name for its self in recent cross-district tournaments. The F.S.N Combatant Ranking System is widely respected throughout the world, providing entertainment to the masses and a safer version of the fights that would occur on the street (meaning, simply, that they aren't to the death. The F.S.N provide 'referees' to prevent illicit or murderous conduct). Characters would be placed into ranks based on their skill and the number of battles they've won. Ranks are S through E, with S being the highest and E being the lowest. Brackets would be made at the beginning of the school year, the first semester consists solely of battles fought between students of the same school; allowing them to sort out their strongest. The second semester would be battles across the school district, to determine those who will represent their area in the Summer Tournament. This year would be a bit different, in terms of the Summer Tournament. The founder of the F.S.N will make an announcement, shortly after the beginning of the school year; claiming that the winner of the coming Summer Tournament will earn one wish. Babel Rook: A series of storms crash against Bridge City, setting into motion an unpredictable chain of events that threatens the stability of corporeal reality. It begins with a message and an unfamiliar communication client. Whether or not a Character has accepted the Babel Rook chat client or not, it appears in their System along with a cryptic message. The people who have been gifted with the Babel Rook are spread throughout the city, their goals and aims unrelated, this much the mysterious 'Oracle' makes clear; yet they are bound by divine purpose. This purpose is not made immediately clear, but the Oracle hints that the end of the world is approaching rapidly and that all who have been chosen must unite...or fall prey to their own darkness. Essentially, the Babel Rook scenario is intended to play with concepts of reality and sanity; leading the Characters out of their norms and forcing them to form a party with various individuals from their city, while doom hovers on the horizon. Periodically, bosses will appear throughout the city and the Characters will be called upon to defeat them. I'm not certain what the cause of the end of the world is, yet, so if anyone has an idea, throw it my way. (I was thinking some kind of Demon, but I'm not sure...) Magical Girls vs The Underwhelming Invasion: Ten years ago an alien ship appeared in the sky above Bridge City. Unlike many encounters with strangers from beyond the stars, the residents of Bridge City were met with peace and strangely peaceful Xaraf aliens. The aliens, exiled from their homeland for adopting methods of peaceful protest, came to Earth looking for a new start. Though suspicions reigned, the foreigners were allowed to make their homes in Bridge City. These exchanges went unnoticed through the rest of the world, until one week ago; when a flash of green light swept across the city in the dead of night. The following day it was found that nearly one fifth of Bridge City's inhabitants had disappeared. Two days later, several groups of Magical Girls appear; searching for the source of the green light. Since their arrival things have become heated, concerning the aliens in the city and the green light that has not only affected Bridge City but two nearby cities as well. I don't even know where I'm going with this one. *shrugs*
