But really, who keeps plastic [i]anything[/i] near the stove? x) What do you use plastic pans for anyway? I don't think I have any. Haha, well, at least the kids weren't hurt or anything. I've never had anything catastrophic happen while I was babysitting, although once I did fall asleep on the couch after I put the boys to sleep. It was like 2am and the parents weren't back from their party yet and I just lay down to rest my eyes. Before I knew it, they were waking me up lol. They weren't irritated at all so it was ok, but I still feel like I should be awake in case something happens or whatever.

I did babysit for a weekend once for another family who had just one four year old boy, and obviously I had to sleep then x) It was cute because the boy would get up in the middle of the night, run down the hall to the guest bedroom where I was sleeping, jump into my bed, and immediately fall asleep next to me - all three nights. The parents even told me before hand that he would do this x) They have a regular sitter almost every other weekend who I was filling in for, so they knew his routine.
