Anyway techniques in that game are like this unholy combination of school knacks of 7th sea with a point cost activation much like magic needing drama dice in said game. 

But that's not the point, The real point is some people are put off by the character's constant self-hyping in the IC section which is obnoxious and well off putting and violates the whole show not tell rule. Also the initial weakness was like a non-issue in the way it was written. New flaws are better but some are odd non-issues like the virginity since unless said character is supremely sexually repressed/ frustrated/wants the cock secretly and gets distracted by such thoughts it's more of an odd piece of trivia.
