Your posts weren't offensive. They were just painful to read. I think you're overreacting a little. I wouldn't have minded if you'd kept using our old character but if you are so keen on swapping her then by all means, go ahead. However, nobody ever said that you would have to remove all traces.

I'm trying to be nice but in the end basically all that's happening is you throwing a tantrum because people disliked your character.
