The figure looked at them in silence before finally speaking "Ah I see...Kaizo and Aokiji" He shifted his attention from them to Shoske and Emilo "Rats" He said, before his eyes flickered momentarily. Shoske noticed a distortion in the air, pushing Emilo to avoid it. It passed them, hitting a rock and causing a massive expllosion. Shoske acted fast, moving without a second thought. He quickly moved in front of Emilo, blocking him from the blast radius, the light engulfing Shoske. As of a result, Shoske's back was badly burnt causing him to collapse to a knee. He turned to Emilo "Emilo...hurry" He said heavily panting and tightly gripping his zanpakuto hilts. "Rise and Fall Tsutaiyou Kengetsu" He had to use the shortened version, he had no time to waste. His two zanpakutos transformed into his shikais. Despite the severe injury, he was ready to fight til the end. The figure raised an eyebrow, no long showing much interest in Shoske nor Emilo "Good eyes...I commend you for surviving" He commented, before looking back at Aokiji and Kaizo. All of this happened within a matter of a few seconds. "Now I have a question for the two of you. Why should I let you two live?" He asked them, slightly curious in not only their answers but also actions.
