Jacque ran along the rooftops of district one, leaping and rolling whenever the situation called for it, but ultimately staying along the same route. It was nearly time to pay the rent at his apartment, and while he had more than enough money to pay for it and for things such as groceries, it wasn't enough for him to pay for rent, groceries, AND buy that nintendo controller coffee table that he'd been eying for the last three weeks, which meant it was time to play robin hood, only with a lot less giving to the needy. Jacque had to admit though, he was surprised that no one had bothered beefing up their security systems with all the the burglaries he'd pulled off. "Guess the good ol' folks of district one can believe something could ever happen to them. Pff, lotta' good that thinking did them." the young criminal snorted as he shifted the duffel bag strapped to his back. He'd already struck five houses, but that didn't mean he couldn't snag a few more loose pieces of jewelry or help himself to the rainy day money in people's safes, after all he might want that funky little rocking chair bed he's seen online. Jacque wasn't quite sure if it was all that comfortable, but that was besides the point. He wanted it god damn it! The boy stopped on top of a house with just the things he was looking for: No car in the driveway, tucked a tad bit away from the others, and most importantly, a skylight. Jacque quickly unscrewed the cap on his camel pack and smirked as water pour out and floated up to where his left arm would be, then shaped it into a makeshift arm, "Oh the price you poor bastard's will pay for aesthetics." Jacque chuckled as he slipped his liquid appendage into the cracks and wrenched the window open enough for him to slip in with his bag. It was only when he dropped in however that he heard the ever so infuriating sound of a burglar alarm being activated, "Aw hell. Caution to the wind then". He didn't have much time, so Jacque forwent the formalities and tore through the house for anything valuable, then kicked down the door and sprinted down the streets as fast as his legs would carry him. Already he could hear the sirens close by.
