Acacia watched the rest of the ceremony proceed without further incident, somewhat thankful there wasn't any more drama. A year at Hogwarts was hardly ever normal, but with things starting out like this, she couldn't help but to feel somewhat anxious about the coming year. Perhaps it was nothing, but one could never be too careful, especially as a Slytherin. Soon, the headmaster finished his speech, and the sorting ceremony was underway. Quite a few were sorted into the various houses, and she was pleased with the number that were sorted into Slytherin. New blood was good, though they would need to learn the ropes around here quickly. The sorting ceremony was over soon enough, and the headmaster announced the feast could begin. Her stomach was rumbling quite a bit, and was glad that the feast finally started. She took portions of everything and placed them on her plate. Unlike some of the other students, she wasn't just going to stuff her face like that Verlin was doing. No need to just inhale the food. You might as well savor it, it was some of the most delicious food she had ever tasted after all. She was hoping to be done soon though, she had some people she needed to talk too.
