The figure raised an eyebrow, no long showing much interest in Shoske nor Emilo "Good eyes...I commend you for surviving" He commented, before looking back at Aokiji and Kaizo. All of this happened within a matter of a few seconds. "Now I have a question for the two of you. Why should I let you two live?" He asked them, slightly curious in not only their answers but also actions.

Kaizo watched as the being shot at Shoske and Emilio which almost made his eyes widen but he couldn't show shock or anything, he had to keep a straight face during everything. The Being then asked why he should let Kaizo and Aokiji live...it was a bit of a stupid question but still..."I don't have a personal reason...There is no reason for you to let either of us live, surely that goes against some sort of code you have? letting Shinigami go free with their lives?...Sure it sounds pleasant and all but in this world and even our own nothing is ever that good...I don't know about you but we were trained to expect the worse...not how to deal with it...just expect it...in other words we were told when the worst happens, make peace with yourself and die like the [i]good[/i] Shinigami we are...so a reason for why you shouldn't kill us?...were different species...isn't that enough reason to slaughter us [i]intruders?[/i] That seems to be the normal around here...after all we just take orders and do our jobs, we don't necessarily agree with what we do but that's how a job works, but you are free to make your own decisions...no one to tell you what you must do...must be a good feeling having full control over the life you have, we don't get such a luxury and we never will...no matter how high of a rank we become. So whatever way this goes we'll suffer...we get beat here and die or we go back alive and beat ourselves up about it and punish ourselves...we can't win...we never do..." Kaizo had rambled on a bit but most of it was for stalling purposes although some truth sat within the words he spoke
