The students were enjoying their feast, Raymond kept getting congratulations from students from all houses, he thanked them, giving a smile. He wondered how it would be to teach people technique on Dueling... their spells would be learned in classes, but it'll be his duty to help his fellow students learn the art of dueling... It was a challenge, but nothing a Chase couldn't do! When all the students couldn't eat any more, the headmaster got up one more time. "All students, follow your Head of House to your dorm rooms, where they will tell you your passwords and tricks in to said house." Blevins opened his arms, and nodded. "Dismissed." Raymond got up, excited to get back in to the old dorm room to just relax before their teachings began. Ray moved out of the way for their Head of House, Hermione Granger. A living legend in the wizarding world. Hermione Granger Hermione walked to the large doors in front of Gryffindor's table. "Follow me, keep up!!" She yelled loudly for everyone to hear, and with a turn, she walked out the doors, with her students walked behind. They entered the Great Hall, and then instead of going towards the hallway for the dungeons, she went to the Grand Staircase. "Watch your step, this way." She said as she climbed on to the stairs, then stopped as the whole thing started turning. The first years went crazy. After waiting and walking up a few more flights, they made it to an archway where a portrait blocked. "Why, hello Mrs. Weasley! Password?" She asked as she walked in to her frame with a smile. She turned to the students. "This year's password: Lemoncake." And with that the portrait opened to reveal a doorway. She climbed inside in to a very warm looking room. Red drapes and fluffy red chairs, a large fireplace, and windows. It also had a bulletin board on a wall, with a few tables as well. There were two staircases on either side of the room. "Ladies bedrooms are on the left, gentlemen on the right. All your belongings are in your dorm rooms, as well as pets. If you have any questions about Gryffindor, or Hogwarts, please let me know." ------------------- Cyril Voss As the headmaster ended the feast, Cyril felt a little more relaxed. He enjoyed the food, but the socializing really wasn't his thing... He got up as the other Heads did, walking to his table, and telling his students to follow him. They walked across the great hall and to a door that lead to a hallway of classrooms. Then they hit another door, where a spiral staircase went down. He walked down, his students still behind him. "My classroom is right here. If you ever need anything, I'll most likely be inside." He stated. They eventually reached a stone wall, the first years looking rather confused. "The password this year is 'venom drop'" And with that the wall gave in to the passage way of the Slytherin common room. It had green lights and fires all over, with obsidian black seats and cushions. The fire was low in the fire pit, and small windows helped illuminate the room. -------- Rachel Blake "Alright, Hufflepuffs, follow me!" Rachel Blake cheered happily with a smile. They took a direct right when entering the hall, to a smaller doorway that lead down below. "Right here is the kitchen!" Rachel said, pointing to the large portrait of a bowl of fruits. " Aaaaand heeeerrreeee..." She stood next to a couple of barrels. "is our House Room!" The first years looked confused, but Rachel gave a wink. "The secret, is to pat the barrels like a drum in the beat, Hel-ga huff-le-puff." She said as she hit the barrels, a door revealed to the coziest of the House common rooms. It was very warm feeling, and circular, with a nice warm fire with yellow curtains and chairs and things of that nature. Just being in here made Rachel a little more tired. ------------ Elizabeth Dawn As the other heads got up, Elizabeth did as well. She inspected her students with a hard stare, but it wasn't supposed to be aggressive or intimidating, it was just the way she was. She was always looking for strategy or a tactic, or just to learn more about a person or place. She was a true Ravenclaw. "Everyone, if you would please follow me." She said. The students went far west across the castle until reaching a rather tall tower. Going up the spiral staircase they were greeted by a silver raven knocker on the wall. "As Ravenclaws, the only way in is to answer a riddle..." She turned to the raven, who moved and tilted its head. "Which came first, the Phoenix, or the flame?" The object asked. "A circle has no beginning." Elizabeth answered. And with that, the wall opened to a circular room made of marble, and royal blue furniture, with a globe in the center. The fireplace was large, the seats were soft, and staircases lead to the girls and boy's dorms.
