Elena was sitting up in her bedroom, writing in her diary like she normally did before she went to bed. She was really tired. School was getting a little intense and she was struggling with it. Matt had been helping her out with study, and while she was thankful for that, she just wished that everything would go away, that she could be left alone and in peace. Elena pulled out the notes that Matt had kindly written up for her for English and she studied over them, trying her hardest to remember quotes from a book they were made read. Any other time Elena would be excited to read something, but when it came to reading for the purpose of school, she just wasn't interested. Sighing, she tossed the notes carelessly aside and lay back on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She wondered how everyone else was going with their homework. School would be ending in a couple of months and then it was off to University, right? Biting her lip, she thought about what she wanted to do with her life. Unfortunately, she didn't have everything set out for her like everyone else, it seemed. She wasn't sure where to go or what to do with herself. A lot of passions, a lot of hobbies, but no direction. Deciding she was a little sick of lying here, Elena climbed out of bed and grabbed a warm jacket to put on. She was going to go and visit the Salvatore brothers. It might have been late, but they were vampires, they stayed up all night anyway. Before she left, she let her aunt know where she would be for a little while. Upon receiving approval Elena grabbed the car keys and headed out into the cold night. It was raining, which made it even colder out here. Luckily for her, she didn't have to drive far, and within ten minutes she was outside of the beautiful mansion the brothers resided in. Hopping out of the car, she tightened her jacket around her before heading to the front door. The girl knocked softly and moved some of her dark hair behind her ear, hoping that one of them was going to answer the door.
