Just as Giovanni made his move, the blast was large and thunderous, a perfect diversion for him to pick off the stragglers. He flickered around the battle field, appearing behind several of the dumb founded hollow and gave a swift slash across the face before moving on to the next one. He was on his 3rd strike when he noticed Gio get bit, from Shusuke's angle, he just lost his arm but out of no where, the hollow exploded and Gio was seemingly unharmed. "Good work, very resourceful." he said out loud but not high enough for Gio to actually hear it, he was just talking for the sake of talking. 

Shusuke caught sight of another flying hollow, these were the more annoying ones so he desperately wanted to end it's life. He darted around the battlefield, no longer using Shunpo but still quite fast. Slicing the legs of multiple hollows as he ran. These cuts wouldn't killed them and for most, not even cripple them but it was enough to buy them some time before they were on top of either of them again. Shusuke saw one hollow in particular, it was the largest one among them. He glanced at the sky to see the flying creature soaring over head and now approaching just over head. "Perfect." he muttered, now leaping onto the knee of the large hollow. He shot upwards and touched down his feet on the shoulder before propelling himself even higher into the air. 

"Now you die!" he yelled, his jump put him just in front of the flying hollow and he swung hard across it's mask. Shusuke then fell through the dissolving partials and plummeted towards the hollow he jumped from. Shusuke did a front flip and swung his zanpakuto over his head to slice the entirety of the hollows body from head to toe. He landed in the signature hero pose, one knee down, one hand on the ground with the other held outwards with his hand firmly grasping his handle.
