Many years had passed since the war. It was terrible - the war went on for years until an agreement was made between the two parties to make peace. One party was the humans, and the other, the aliens. Humans and aliens had pledged to live together harmoniously on earth. However, the two biggest families who first initiated the war, still lived in hatred against each other. Lia Stevens, the descendant of one of the families, had been raised to hate the other family, but she was too young to learn about hate then.

At school, Lia thought she was going to sleep through Science class. "Alright, pupils! Find a partner and get on with the experiment!" Her science teacher suddenly called from the front. Lia turned to her friend, but not until she remembered that her friend wanted to be partnered with her boyfriend for today. [i]Damn.[/i] People was starting to settle in place with their partners. The better ones were all taken. "Who else doesn't have a partner?" She called out loudly, raising her hand.
