If the sun had turned black there wouldn't be any heat for you Amber since the solar radiation is what's giving you power, also if the moon came in closer to the earth more bodies of water would form at different points on the globe, and from just a guess, I'm guessing the water elemental can control the moon to bring it in closer to kill you, or wait till a full moon where he could be at a powerful mode that even phonixe form cannot surpass."
