Hii, it's been ages since I've roleplayed but a friend of mine persuaded me to (hopefully if you accept me or my dreams and hopes are lost q.q) start again. Your roleplay caught my eye and at the very least I'm happy I could attempt to make a character if anything~ I'll probably edit a few things later. This is it for now.
Name: Ash Demitri Title: Envy Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: He covers his face as he has sustained a few stitches which he is self-conscious about and his right eye has been replaced by a mechanical replica which after a full scan of somebodies' body (front and back) is able to analyze and see the skeletal and muscular structure of the individual. Personality: One thing that's certain about Ash is that he’s extremely alert. His loyalty only lies with Sloth and because of that, few words are ever expressed from his covered face. Of course he expresses what little warmth he can offer to his fellow ‘sinners’ however he chooses to act quiet, give no opinion and stays constantly attentive. Ash would do anything for Sloth whom has (hopefully lol) allowed him to stay by her side. The other thing about his personality? He envies the life he could've lived and what he could have achieved, had he been born into an average family or met Sloth earlier. In a few words he is a ‘loyal, deformed doll.’ Abilities: Very aware of his surroundings due to his past experiences, has quick reflexes and is very intuitive. Having to strive to survive, he’s able to quickly use his hands and IS able to kill in order to ensure survival (which probably happen? :P) Power: I have a few suggestions so please pick one~ 1) Ash’s power has been born due to his thoughts of others to feel his pain and anguish. He produces illusions in which only the target can see that seeks to kill that person. From what they fear, Ash can then change its figure in order to be able to inflict harm however this pain is only mentally and doesn’t actually inflict injury physically; although long periods of being tormented by the nightmare can lead to insanity. The drawbacks of this ability is that doing this to multiple people and ‘editing’ the entity which scares an individual requires Ash to sleep for long periods of time. In addition, the longer the time period of a nightmare, the more Ash’s insanity will slowly go; thus he is only able to do this no more than four minutes however targets find themselves mentally drained. In addition, although there is a low chance for this to happen, if the individual was to stop fearing his nightmare, the illusion is automatically negated and the pain that would’ve been affected onto the individual would instead be felt by Ash himself, which could ultimately lead to him being in a coma like state. *2. Ash’s envy towards people has evolved into an ability which can ‘steal.’ Provided that he can see the object or person’s figure, he is able to force that object into his hand by imagining that object or part of the body. This requires around thirty seconds in which Ash is put into a state of meditation(?) but afterwards he is able to move, keeping this object. The drawbacks are that if his mind wonders elsewhere and he doesn’t complete his thought of the object (he’s gotta concentrate) he’ll be put into shock for a period of time, unable to do anything. This also occurs if he is disturbed during the period he is unable to move. 3) He himself is consumed by his own envy which has seemed to become an actual entity or being that is connected via the mind (because this 'envy creature' is part of him) with the character and through this thing, it can separate and latch onto others and send them into a state of utter depression. The weakness is in the fact that firstly this entity can be hit and if done so, the character feels pain from whatever force was put on it, secondly the psychological pain that any of his victims feel, he will feel it (he must control himself strongly, his mind or he will literally cease to work), thirdly the more people he tries to manipulate, the pain increases exponentially. (this is like the first one but it was an initial idea and it was different in the way it worked :P) How you joined the sinners: Ash’s troubles arose quite early and as he became older, because it was harder to find areas to hide and unfortunately for him, he had stolen from a gang leader who was one of the few to realize he was being targeted, thus Ash became the one being targeted. Jumped in an alley way by some of the leader's gang members who had waited patiently for Ash’s arrival, he was unable to resist. What couldn't bring more horror to Ash’s eye was when he saw what seemed a girl around his age (he’s now 17 :P. he left home earlier) stroll into the alley way. Let’s just say Ash was saved coincidentally since the gang members thought to beat her up for being a witness. Ash swore loyalty to Sloth after they (can’t let the lady do all the work :P) had done with the incident and she became his reason for living on with a stronger determination and an individual he most admired and aspired to be, or at least a little. ( ;) ) Personal Arc: Ash was brought up learning violence solved everything, in his household. His father was a violent drunkard whose favourite pastime other than drinking was to abuse his child and widow. Not only did this abuse come in the form of broken beer bottles and his father’s cherished cane but verbally it broke Ash. This continued up to age of fifteen. His mother had long since died from an unfortunate incident from a vase falling from a fragile shelf and Ash’s daily life was too yearn for his death which only came from their barely audible television and to daydream about his life as one of those kids with smiles on their faces. His mind tormented by his father’s words, his body half battered to death and the sight of his father’s fake tears about what happened to his wife was too distressing for Ash to bear. Sipping sedatives into his father’s drinks, he took whatever money was left in possession of his father’s wallet and left. He was only a teenager so working wouldn’t have paid of their endless amount of debt and so of course he had stolen, on a regular basis. He had been doing it for years now and the feeling of stealing from those he found disgusting (or should we say made him envious) lightened his mood.
