Bakudo 9 Geki" as Giovanni's body glows red so too does the hollows. but the hollow becomes paralyzed while Gio just turns and runs straight for his easy prey. As he goes to thrust at the hollows skull he aims his strike upward, catching an entirely different hollow as it tried to attack him. as that hollow disappeared into the darkness Gio raised his blade and brought it down cleanly though the hollows entire being. Gio let out an audible sigh. he had taken waaay to many hits, from tails and feet and heads and every damn thing imaginable. and something he'd rather not imagine. even though he could move it, his left arm was in pretty bad shape. his shoulder was damaged and so was his right leg but it wasnt anything that could keep him from moving. he looked up and watched Shusuke as he prepared to finish off the last of the hollows

Shusuke ran around a near by hollow, sliding to the right, then hopping to left to avoid a heavy fist. This one was faster than the previous ones he cut, more sluggish and brutish but this one was more calculated with it's attacks. Or was it that Shusuke had tired himself out from using Shunpo and all the acrobatics during his strikes. He was now on the defensive as the hollow roared and came after him. It's frame was thing but it's limbs were large, ideal for quick movements while still providing a sturdy striking force. "Damn, I'm burnt." he thought, the hollows strikes were getting closer and closer to him until one connected with his stomach and propelled him into the dirt. His body hit hard and flipped over several times before finally coming to a halt. He pushed himself up and took a sturdy stance against the hollow, taking a quick second to turn and spit a mouth full of blood. 

Shusuke raised his blade, it had a very faint white glowing hue to it, only visible in the right light to anyone looking. This meant his ability could work on them. He could see 3 remaining hollows, two were staying back as this one wailed on Shusuke. The distance they stood apart was within reason, he only needed a little more energy. "If you want to kill me, you'll have to do better than that!" he yelled, trying to antagonize the hollow. It worked, it howled and ran at him. "Let's do it Tsukurite Yasuragi, let's end this." he whispered to his zanpakuto. He lunged at the large hollow, his breathing was heavy and he knew he didn't have much left in the tank but he had to push his limits. Just before making contact with this particular enemy, he flash stepped away, appearing between the two smaller ones. He utilized his zanpakuto's ability and shredded through the spiritual energy around the hollow just before whipping the blade around to cut through it's mask. He turned around and did the same thing to second to last hollow.

The particles burst around him and he stood with both hands grasping his handle firmly, it's blade now glowing a little brighter than before. He stared at the last hollow, the one that gave him the ache in his body. Shusuke took a deep breath, trying to recover before making his last stand. The hollow ran at him, roaring and howling as it got closer. Now within 50 feet of Shusuke, he made his move. "Return their sorrow, Tsukurite Yasuragi." His blade surged and the glow around his blade vanished but the tip of his blade released a thing strand of electricity that zipped through the air and brushed into the center of the hollow. The hollow didn't stop however, it continued towards him. Shusuke lowered his guard and prepared to seal away his zanpakuto. Just then, the hollow burst into a cloud of black particles and flew passed him. Shusuke sealed his zanpakuto and sheathed it, then dropped to his knees and spit up more blood.
